GENERAL
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
We need a government-issued photo identification such as a drivers license or passport. No photos, the ID must be present.
If you are a minor we need what is stated above for your parent or legal guardian and the same for the person getting the procedure.
We can take a government issue birth certificate for the minor (for piercing, tattoo requires PHOTO ID) , but it has to be an original, NOT A COPY!
In the case of legal guardianship, we also need proof of guardianship.

WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE I COME GET TATTOOED OR PIERCED?
Make sure you have showered, are well rested, hydrated, and have eaten recently. We also request that you avoid bringing large groups of “watchers” as there are other people getting work done that may require a less hectic environment.
Can I bring my children?
For tattoos, NO! Burleigh County regulations do not allow anyone under the age of 16 to enter a tattoo room. We also do not have the space to have a child sitting unattended in the lobby for any time period. Children must be with an adult and well behaved at all times as there are other clients and artists involved in procedures that require care and concentration. If anyone, child or adult, cannot contain their noise levels they will be asked to leave as a safety mechanism for other clients.
For piercing, YES! We pierce minors all the way down to 4 years of age (proper proper ID and consent). We also understand that parents dont always have the abilty to drop a child off at a babysitter for a 30 min appointment. Children are allowed in the piercing room as long as they are well behaved and able to sit still on a bench provided. If possible, bring another adult to help hold the child so you can focus on your piercing and be involved with our piercer. We DO NOT have room for large numbers of bodies in our piercing room, so if you have multiple kids it would be best to find a sitter or bring a person to watch them in the lobby due to space constraints. Thank you for understanding. We do our best to be family friendly within reason, but safety and other clients comfort is just as important.
TATTOO
WHAT IS THE AGE REQUIREMENT FOR GETTING TATTOOED?
In North Dakota you must be 16 years old with parental consent, the parent must be present for the entire procedure & both parties will have to provide legal photo identification.
DO YOU GUYS ACCEPT TATTOO WALK-INS?
We are a custom shop that is quite busy, but you can always call the to see if we have any space on the day or to be put on our on-call list. If you are feeling the itch to get something in a more spontaneous manner you can come get a piercing, those are all done on a walk-in basis. We also try to host a variety of guest tattooers, feel free to follow our social media for updates on when they will be available.
HOW CAN I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
You can fill out our scheduling form. Some artists might have an indicator that their books are closed, in this case, they aren’t taking on any projects at this time, but you can feel free to email them to see if what you are looking to get is a project they would take on when their books open up again. Most of our artists are selective of what they take on and only tattoo in their specific style. If you are unsure please feel free to email them and ask. We are happy to help you.
Once you talk to the artist, they will give you the amount of time needed, and from that point, they will have you call the shop to pick a date that works & put down a deposit.
I WANT SOMETHING SMALL, DO I HAVE TO DO ALL THAT?
In the case you would like something more simplistic and straightforward, you can stop in the shop at any time to talk to our front counter. They can take a look at what you are looking to have done and get you in our books. If you live out of town, please give our shop a call and we assist you further.
WHAT IS THE DEPOSIT FOR?
The deposit is there to ensure that you will arrive on the day of your scheduled appointment to ensure that our artist’s time isn’t wasted. A deposit will become void if:
you do not appear for your scheduled appointment
you reschedule 3 or more times, regardless of notice
WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE?
That’s completely fine! We can reschedule any appointment for you, we just require a 24-hour notice to keep your existing deposit. The sooner we know the better, this allows us to fill that spot for our artists. If you fail to contact us in time for your appointment your deposit becomes void.
PIERCING
DO YOU PIERCE MINORS?
Body piercings can be done 14+ with a parent or legal guardian present. We need a photo ID for the parent and a photo ID for the person getting pierced or an original birth certificate.
We offer earlobe piercings for children starting at the age of 4, you must have some sort of ID for them such as a birth certificate in person
We require that the child be able to consent and sit on their own during the procedure.
Our studio has three experienced piercers available: Aileen, Jay, and Allyx. Aileen has special expertise in piercing younger children, as does Allyx. In fact they both ADORE piercing children. Jay takes on piercing individuals ages 13 and up. No exceptions.
We recommend scheduling an appointment with Aileen or Allyx for any children’s ear piercings. Walkins arent possible due to how busy our studio can get. Children deserve a special level of care and attention that a walkin does not allow us to provide. Appointments are NECESSARY.
WHAT DO WE NEED TO BRING?
We need a government-issued ID for anyone 16+ and for anyone under the age of 16 an ORIGINAL birth certificate will work. Copies of these are not acceptable.
If you are under the age of 18 you will need a parent or legal guardian to be present and provide photo identification and or documentation in the case of legal guardianship. Your parent or legal guardian will have to be present for the entire procedure.
We can not accept photos of identification, it has to be the original in person.
DO YOU GUYS ACCEPT PIERCING WALK-INS?
YES WE DO!
We have a piercer on every day that the shop is open, feel free to come in & we can get you set up with something new! We have also expanded our staff to 2 piercers and 2 counter people on shift most days to help lessen the wait for walk-ins and allow for more appointment slots. Just remember that appointments take precedence, so patience is key.
Our piercers take clients up until 30 minutes before the studio closes for the night.
